Rebecca Marder
Rebecca Marder took her first steps as an actress at the age of ten. She starred in Demandez la permission aux enfants by Éric Civanyan (2007) and La Rafle by Roselyne Bosch (2010), and in 2011 won the Best Emerging Actress award at the La Rochelle Fiction Festival for her performance in the title role of Alain Tasma's TV film Emma.
After training at the Conservatoire in Paris 13, she was admitted to the Théâtre national de Strasbourg and then joined the Comédie-Française in June 2015, becoming the youngest resident since Isabelle Adjani. She went on to play a series of roles at the Comédie-Française, while at the same time pursuing her career in film and television.
In 2018, she starred alongside Fabrice Luchini and Leïla Bekhti in Un homme pressé and then under the direction of Philippe Faucon in the mini-series Fiertés for Arte. The following year, she starred in Deux Moi by Cédric Klapisch, before playing Isabelle Huppert's daughter in La Daronne by Jean-Paul Salomé. In 2020, she took part in Suzanne Lindon's first film, Seize Printemps. That same year, she starred in Arnaud Desplechin's Tromperie, and Sandrine Kiberlain offered her the title role in her film Une jeune fille qui va bien, presented in a special screening at Critics' Week 2021. After shooting with Michel Leclerc in Les goûts et les couleurs, Rebecca Marder ended 2022 with Simone, le voyage du siècle by Olivier Dahan. In spring 2023, the actress will appear in La Grande Magie by Noémie Lvovsky, Mon crime by François Ozon and De grandes espérances by Sylvain Desclous.
Rebecca Marder was a member of the Jury at the 15th edition of the Arcs Film Festival.
