Matteo Garrone

Matteo Garrone was born in Rome in 1968. He made his directorial debut in 1998 with Terra di mezzo and quickly made a name for himself with L'imbalsamatore (2002), which won several awards. His film Gomorra (2008), an adaptation of the book by Roberto Saviano, brought him international recognition, winning the Grand Prix at the Festival de Cannes and several other awards.

In 2012, Reality also won the Grand Prix at Cannes. Matteo Garrone explored fantasy with Il Racconto dei Racconti (2015) and then directed Dogman (2018), in which his lead actor, Marcello Fonte, won the Best Actor Award at Cannes. In 2019, he adapted Pinocchio, praised for its technical aspects.

In 2023, Io Capitano won him the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for an Oscar in the Best International Film category.

Noomi Rapace began her acting career at the age of seven, in Iceland's In the Shadow of the Raven. She has since gone to appear in over twenty films and television shows.

In 2007, she made her mark on the big screen with a breakthrough performance in the Danish film, Daisy Diamond. She garnered high praise for her breakthrough performance in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first installment of the Millennium Trilogy. She has played, among others in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, by Guy Ritchie, Prometheus by Ridley Scott, as well as Brian De Palma’s Passion. In 2021, she starred in Valdimar Jóhannsson’s supernatural drama, Lamb.

Noomi Rapace is also a producer with BOOM Films.

KARIN VIARD

Karin Viard made her film debut in the 90s. She rose rapidly from high-profile secondary roles in Tatie Danielle and Delicatessen to starring in Les Randonneurs. In 2000, she won the César for Best Actress for Haut les cœurs ! and in 2003 the César for Best Supporting Actress for Embrassez qui vous voudrez.


Karin Viard has become one of France's most popular and sought-after actresses, starring in a wide range of films: Polisse, La famille Bélier, Potiche, Jalouse... In 2018, she played in Les Chatouilles, a role which earned her another César. In 2023, she starred in Alex Lutz's Une Nuit, which she also co-wrote and co-produced. In 2024, she appeared in the series Dans l'ombre on France 2 and on the big screen in Fils de, by Carlos Abascal Peiro.
