In his 22-year career and as many films, Bertrand Bonello has garnered nearly fifty nominations for his films, selected in the biggest festivals: Berlin, Locarno and of course Cannes, with Tiresia, L'Apollonide: Souvenirs de la maison close and Saint Laurent in the official competition. He also represented France at the Oscars and was nominated ten times at Les César in 2015.

Bertrand Bonello was Guest of Honour at Les Arcs Film Festival in 2016.
